This Sweet Potato Smoothie is a healthy breakfast option, made with cooked sweet potatoes and anti-inflammatory turmeric and ginger.

Cooked sweet potato adds creaminess to the smoothie, a touch of naturally sweet flavor, and more nutrition.

Here are three great things about sweet potatoes.

– They are a rich source of beta-carotene, an antioxidant known to support eye health.

– They contain Vitamin A, which is essential for a healthy immune system.

– Both soluble and insoluble fiber can be found in them, which may help to improve gut health in general.

Here is the recipe for you (serves 4 people).


  • 1 cups boiled & frozen sweet potatoes 
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon 
  • 1 tsp of grated fresh ginger or 1/4 tsp of ground ginger
  • 2 dates
  • 1/4 teaspoon of ground turmeric 
  • 2 dates
  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 1/2 cup almond milk or milk of choice
  • pinch salt


In a blender, combine all ingredients. Blend until smooth. Serve right away. Enjoy.
