Bliss & Stars is not your usual lodge. It is a place where guests are treated as friends and family. Above all: we want our guests to feel at home.
Please note that we don’t offer standard accommodation – tented chalets, chalets and the villa are used for retreats only.

Our accommodation and communal spaces are built with three principles in mind: simplicity, function, and connection to the natural world. We’ve merged these principles with African design aesthetics for a truly unique experience: one of total privacy, comfort, and natural luxury in a clean and minimalistic space.
the labor of love
Transforming this space into a retreat has been an incredibly delicate process. We wanted to honor the wilderness and rugged environment while creating a joyful and comfortable home for our guests and ourselves.
Every detail from the building materials to the furniture and artwork was carefully selected to create comfortable and inviting bedrooms full of natural light with a panoramic view of nature and a soft breeze.
Simply walk outside to enjoy the pristine wilderness – perfect for walks or winding down over a chilled bottle of spring water.
CHALETS
Step into our chalets and ease into stillness and embrace breathtaking views. Breathe in the majestic scenery as you rest in the outdoor lounge chairs, or lie down in bed at night.
TENTED CHALETS
Our tented chalets offer complete privacy complemented by natural surroundings and incredible views. Feel cozy and rejuvenated as you relax on the deck and admire the grandeur of the surrounding rock formations.
VILLA
Our Weaver’s Nest Villa offers a secluded and even closer stay to the Doring River, with huge windows and panoramic views. Larger than the chalets and crafted by master stone masons, it has a bedroom, bathroom, separate lounge, and big outdoor area; giving you that much more space to relax and take in the views.
