ARABELLA PARKINSON

HEAD CHEF AT BLISS & STARS

As a chef and holistic health coach, I have spent the last eight years in the food industry.

From the galleys of private yachts, restaurants in London, menu development for restaurants around South Africa; designing nutrition plans; hosting plant-based cooking workshops and serving high end food on retreats worldwide, my love for food and my desire to share it is visceral.

Classically trained and passionate about Eastern philosophy, I create a space for these polarising traditions to converge. Ayurveda and it’s ancient healing properties integrated into classical French cuisine enable me to offer you a multi-sensory experience of food.

Food is the most intimate art form. It is the only art form that we ingest, that becomes us. Arabella’s food is a representation of the environment around us. It is the link between the land and our body, connecting pleasure and healing.

Weaving elements of Ayurvedic philosophy and ancient healing into localised and seasonal menus, she aims to stimulate all of the senses while nourishing the body. Arabella’s approach to food is holistic, as a chef and health coach she works to bring health and pleasure onto the same plate.

COOKING CLASSES

Join plant-based Chef Arabella for INTRO CLASSES into plant-based cooking

The cooking classes will give you all the tools you need to whip up unique, balanced, and nourishing plant-based meals. With a passion for merging pleasure and functionality, her recipes are quick, affordable, delicious, and healthy. One-stop shop to understand the kitchen a bit better.

Showcasing local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients, Arabella guides you through the class whilst sharing all her chef tips on where and how to shop as well as how to make a difference through the food on your plate.

The cooking classes are for anyone starting out on this journey who lacks knowledge around the basics needed for plant-based cooking.

With a background in nutrition Arabella’s food aims to bring function and pleasure onto the same plate.

She highlights the importance of using food as medicine and that when we eat intentionally, in alignment with the environment around us (eating both seasonally and locally), we can bring our mind and body into balance.
